Abdul Alim was born on 10 January 1988 to an aristocratic Bengali peasant family in the village of Shaljore on the banks of the Shalnadi in Birbhum district known as the "Land of Rangamati". Father Abu Taleb and mother Anarjan Begum. Abdul Alim is a noted essayist, novelist, researcher and progressive thinker in the world of literature and culture.[1]

Although the author has a bachelor's degree in science, he has a special interest in history, which is why he prefers to write historical essays and historical novels. There is also encouragement in any creative endeavor. He is currently associated with the film industry. He also has his own website called 'Navajagaran'. It regularly publishes various unknown information in the country and abroad including history, science, philosophy, religion, politics and cinema.[2]

His first historical novel is Sirajuddaullah. Published in 2018. Abdul Alim is one of the young progressive writers of this generation. In 2016, his first historical novel 'Sirajuddaullah' was published from 'Desh Prakashan'.[3] The book was well received by the readers. There is also encouragement in any creative endeavor. He is currently associated with the film industry. He Assist with the commercially successful Barof (2019), Subarnabhumi (2022), Ami Soumitra (Documentary of Bengali Actor Soumitra chattopadhyay), Neel Doriyar Majhi, (Director Panna Hossain), Aye Khuku Aye (Director Souvik Kundu), Mon Kharap (Director Pavel), Jaalbandi (Director Pijush Saha), Bagh Bandi Khela (Bengali Mega Serial) Tumi (Bengli Short Film). Audition (As a Director), Mohobhanga (As a Director), Mental (As a Director). Abdul Alim work as a Co-writer in Jalbandi'.
