Draft:Mountain Wizard Death Cult
Mountain Wizard Death Cult are a 4 piece Sludge/Doom/Post-Metal band formed in Sydney, New South Wales [1] [2]. Mountain Wizard Death Cult started as Chris Chaplin and his long-time friend drummer Lachlan Livingston Wink would play together [3]. As the two made more music mutual friend Anthony Langton joined as the bass player [3]. The three started recording at Studio Bleus. After JJ Brady heard the trios demos, he expressed interest in joining and became the bands vocist [3]
History
[edit]Touring within Australia, Mountain Wizard Death Cult supported King Parrot, Sumeru, Blade of Horace ,Alchemy ,El Colosso and Black Rheno . BARE BONES
Mountain Wizard Death Cult were invited to play a number of prominent music festivals and events including an appearance at Aftermath 2021, [4], Blacken Open Air 2022 [5], Thrashville 2022 [6], Sunburn 2024 [7], Halloween Hysteria 2022 [8], BIGSOUND 2022 , Froth and Fury Festival 2024 [9], and Necrosoinic 2024 [10] .
