Mohammed Hussein is a Yemeni former footballer who represented the South Yemen national team as their top international goalscorer.[1]
International career
[edit]Hussein made his debut for South Yemen in a 6–2 loss against Iraq on 3 November 1989 during the 1989 Peace and Friendship Cup, and he scored both of South Yemen's goals.[2] He would make one more appearance for South Yemen during the 1989 Peace and Friendship Cup which saw a 1–0 win against Guinea during which he also scored.[3]
The win against Guinea would be the final match played by the South Yemen national team as South Yemen united with North Yemen to form Yemen in 1990.
