Ed Barrios (born 6 August, 1996) professionally known as Mixed Matches (Mostly abbreviated as MM) is an American singer and producer from Clearwater, Florida. He started to gain popularity after releasing three three-song EPs in his trinity series, with trinity_a, trinity_b, and trinity_c throughout 2018.
Early life
[edit]Ed Barrios who's born in Raleigh, North Coralina. During the 8th grade, he later ended up moving to Florida. During high school, he started off making music in his room for fun and wanted to both musically and blend music together. He decided from there that he will continue to make better music and improvement throughout the years.
Career
[edit]Mixed Matches gained relatively notoriety after releasing three three-song EPs in his trinity series, with trinity_a, trinity_b, and trinity_c throughout 2018. In 2019, Barrios continued to release projects consecutively, releasing three EPs in i don’t know where you are, but i hope you’re doing well, and ready for the world with Lukrative. Later on, Mixed matches continued to release more episodes. 2021, he released "I'm a good sport", and the year after BCN which stands for Barcelona.
He released his first official debut, a full-length album called Opium, in September 2020. Barrios followed that up six months later with his second full-length album In Memory. In July of 2021, he released a short EP in going/freedom and another complete project in all we are/all I need. As of early 2022, he released another full-length album with you and released an EP called bcn (Barcelona). Near the end of 2022, ed released his self-titled album called Mixed Matches and almost 1 month apart, dropped the extended version.
