From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mirza Sahiban is a 1957 bollywood romantic film starring Shammi Kapoor and Shyama in lead roles. It is based on the novel of the epic tragedy Mirza Sahiban. The film was directed by Ravi Kapoor.[1] The film didn't do well at the box office and contributed to Kapoor's list of flops.[2] In a review, the film was called “pointless” and that there was “no lessons learned” from the film. However the casting of the film and songs were praised. Shammi's acting was acclaimed and Shyama made a “perfect Sahiban”.[3]
