Mighty Mouse is an upcoming American animated superhero film written by Matt Lieberman. It is based on the character Mighty Mouse by Paul Terry and Izzy Klein.

Production

[edit]

As early as 2004, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies and O Entertainment announced to produce a CGI Mighty Mouse feature film that was tentatively scheduled to be released some time in 2013.[1]

In April 2019, Jon and Erich Hoeber signed on to script the film for Paramount Animation while Karen Rosenfelt and Robert Cort were set to produce. It was set to be a live action/animated production.[2] There were no updates until November 2024, when it was announced that Maximum Effort were developing an animated Mighty Mouse film, with Matt Lieberman writing the screenplay, and Ryan Reynolds producing.[3]
