Melancholy, 2012

'Melancholy' or 'Meloncolie is a sculpture by Albert György and it is located in Switzerland. The sculpture is meant to represent grief.

History

The sculpture is located in Lake Geneva, Switzerland. The sculpture features a human figure which is slumped over with it's head hanging down. In the book Redesigning the Unremarkable, the authors say that the sculpture, represents a hollow empty feeling, and intense pain.[1]
