Meet the Flintstones is an upcoming American animated film produced by Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. Serving as an origin story of The Flintstones, it is directed by Todd Wilderman and Hamish Grieve and written by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic.
Ideas for an animated Flintstones film began in May 2014 with Chris Henchy, Will Ferrell, and Adam McKay writing the script for the project. Plans for the film changed in June 2023 following development hell when Bill Damaschke announced the rebranding of Warner Animation Group into "Warner Bros. Pictures Animation".
