Maulana Suleman Ashraf Hamidi
[edit]Maulana Suleman Ashraf Hamidi.[1] was an Indian Islamic scholar from Barelvi Movement and the co-founder of Darul Uloom Makhdoomia. He served as the Shahi Imam at Eidgah Sambhal, lived by a mission to create a school that not only teaches Islam but also make young people with the worldly education they need in today’s world. He held the position of State President of Tanzeem Ulama-e-Ahle Sunnat in Uttar Pradesh until his unexpected passing[2] on Friday, October 25, 2024, at a hospital in Moradabad around 2:00 PM. He inspired, helped secretly, & teach many people lesson which will remain in heart.

Darul Uloom Makhdoomia was established in 1994 by Shahzada-e-Makhdoom-e-Millat Hazrat Allama Mufti Al-Haaj Al-Shah Muhammad Farooq Hamidi Qadri Ashrafi (alayhirrehma warizvan), former Shahi Imam of Eidgah Sambhal. This esteemed English and Islamic institution is located in the Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, India. The institution operates under the guidance of Nabira-e-Makhdoom-e-Millat Hazrat Maulana Qari Al-Haaj Muhammad Suleman Ashraf Hamidi Sahab Qibla, who serves as the Shahi Imam of Eidgah Sambhal[3]
The Chairman of Darul Uloom Makhdoomia is also the Chief Trustee of the Makhdoom-e-Millat Foundation Trust and the State President of Tanzeem Ulama-e-Ahle Sunnat in Uttar Pradesh. Maulana Suleman Ashraf Hamidi held the position of authority until his unexpected passing. Following his death, his youngest son, Ghazi Ashraf Hamidi, succeeded[4] him on Monday, October 28, 2024, with the oversight of several Ulamas, as well as his uncles Faizan Ashraf Hamidi and Burhan Ashraf Hamidi.
