From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A Master of Public Administration and Affairs (MPAA) is a specialized professional graduate degree in public administration and public affairs that prepares students for leadership roles, similar or equivalent to a Master of Business Administration but with an emphasis on the issues of public services including training in public policy and the operation of government. Courses required for this degree educate students in public and non-profit management, policy analysis, and applied technology.[1]

Graduates can work in government, nonprofits, and private companies. The specifics of the program can vary by university.
