Maros Johannes Mosehla, also Marosi Mosehla[1] (born 1941 or 1942[2]) is a South African runner known for being the oldest finisher of the Comrades Marathon.

In 2023, Mosehla broke the standing record of former winner Wally Hayward, which Hayward set in 1989 at the age of 80.[3] Mosehla completed the 87.8km ultramarathon in 9 hours and 26 minutes, which also marked a much faster time than Hayward's 10 hours and 58 minutes. In honor of setting this record, Member of the Executive Council of KwaZulu-Natal, Ntuthuko Mahlaba awarded Mosehla R20 000 out-of-pocket. (same source) This was Mosehla's 10th Comrades Marathon.[4]

In 2024, at age 82, Mosehla broke his record for oldest Comrades Marathon finisher. He finished 6th in the 70+ age category with a time of 10 hours and 13 minutes.

Mosehla's personal record for the Comrades Marathon is 7 hours, 57 minutes, and 11 seconds in 2007 at age 65. In 2007, he came in second in the 60+ age category with a time of 8 hours, 19 minutes, and 43 seconds. As of 2024, Mosehla has finished every Comrades Marathon since 2016.[1]
