Marguerite Fawdry (May 14, 1912 - September 15, 1995) was the founder of Pollock's Toy Museum.
Biography
[edit]Fawdry was born Marguerite Desnieres in 1912. Her father was from Brittany and her mother was English. In 1914, her father died as a soldier in World War I. She graduated from the Lycee in South Kensington, West London and went on to graduate from the University of Lille.[1]
