Marguerite Fawdry (May 14, 1912 - September 15, 1995) was the founder of Pollock's Toy Museum.

Biography

Fawdry was born Marguerite Desnieres in 1912. Her father was from Brittany and her mother was English. In 1914, her father died as a soldier in World War I. She graduated from the Lycee in South Kensington, West London and went on to graduate from the University of Lille.[1]
