Malte Wirtz born 5 October 1979 is a German director and writer.
Biography
[edit]Wirtz was born in Marburg, Hessen, in Germany. He studied film and theatre directing at Athanor Academy from 2001-2005. Later he began making independent films and working for several theatres. In 2021 he released the silent film Gender Crisis about the story of Samson and Delilah.[1] He worked for the Bern Theatre and for the Deutsches Theater (Berlin). In 2024 he released the Horrorfilm The third guest while telling the press that he himself was actually too nervous to watch horror films.[2]
