Not to be confused with Dr. and justice of the peace M. M. Erwin from Tennessee and then of Lawrence Coujty and then Auvergne, Arkansas [1]

M. M. Erwin (c. 1828 – October 1892)[1] was a cotton ginner and state legislator in Arkansas. James Erwin was his father. He served in the state legislature.[2]

He opened the first hotel in Des Arc, Arkansas.[2]
