Luvcat is a British alternative rock band founded in Liverpool in 2023. The band counts five members including Sophie Morgan, Jack Fussey, Andy Richmond, Tom Fripp and Will Jaquet.
The band gained success after their first single "Matador" went viral on TikTok in June 2024.[1]
The lead singer Sophie Morgan said to Far Out that the name of the group is inspired by "The Love Cats" single by The Cure, and quoted the band as one of her main inspirations.[2]
Luvcat headed their first show at Paper Dress Vintage in London on July 3, 2024.[3]
