Luca Girotti (born July 22, 2000) is an Italian judoka competing in the +100 kg category. He represents Team Italy in international competitions.
Early Life[edit]
Luca Girotti was born on July 22, 2000, in Pavia, Italy. He began practicing judo at the age of five while living in Belgium. His early exposure to the sport in Belgium set the foundation for his judo career.
Career[edit]
Luca Girotti represents Italy in international judo competitions. He fights in the +100 kg weight category. Throughout his career, Girotti has shown consistent performance, representing Team Italy on various prestigious platforms.
In 2024, Girotti was interviewed by Belgian television for being one of the two Italians to attend a masterclass by Kosei Inoue in Lommel.[1] His participation in this event was also covered in a local news article.[2]
Training[edit]
Currently, Luca Girotti trains at the Lu Gia Jen club in Den Haag (the Netherlands), where he continues to develop his skills and techniques in judo.
