[edit]Early Life and Football Career
[edit]Loren Howard was born in Salt Lake City. His family moved frequently during his childhood, living in Iowa and Seattle before eventually settling in Scottsdale, Arizona. While attending high school in Scottsdale, Howard was encouraged by his coach to pursue football at a collegiate level.
Howard attended Northwestern University, where he played as a defensive end in the Big Ten Conference. During his freshman year, he was named a Freshman All-American Defensive End and earned the Big Ten Defensive Freshman of the Year title. In his sophomore year, he received All-Conference honors, further establishing his reputation as a standout player. During his collegiate career, Howard recorded 171 tackles (34 for loss) and 11 sacks. His performances on the field were noted by NFL scouts.[1]
After transferring to Arizona State University, Howard’s football career came to an end due to multiple injuries, including knee surgeries and a quadriceps injury. [2]
Indoor Rowing World Records
[edit]Loren Howard has also gained recognition in indoor rowing, setting multiple world records in various events, including:
- 100 meters: 12.6 seconds
- 1-minute distance: 430 meters
- 500 meters: 1:10.5 (equaling the world record)[3]
Business Ventures
[edit]After his football career, Howard entered the business world. In 2005, he co-founded Altweb Media, a company providing website and graphic design services.[4]
He later entered the lead generation industry, where he successfully scaled ventures. In 2017, Howard acquired Prime Plus Mortgages, a hard money lending company specializing in financing solutions for real estate investors.[5] His personal experience as a real estate investor informed his approach, enabling him to cater to the unique financial needs of other investors.[6]
In addition to Prime Plus Mortgages, Howard and his wife, Diane, co-own Esthetic Finesse, a medical spa located in Scottsdale, Arizona. The clinic offers a variety of aesthetic services, and Howard applies his entrepreneurial expertise to support its operations while Diane brings her medical expertise to the business.[7]
Philanthropy
[edit]Loren Howard is a founding member of Valley Guardians, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Arizona. The organization supports underprivileged youth through mentorship, education, and financial assistance. Valley Guardians has developed various programs that support youth empowerment. Specific initiatives include funding scholarships, providing educational resources, and mentorship opportunities.[8]
Personal Life
[edit]Loren Howard resides in Arizona, with his wife, Diane, and their two young children. They co-own and operate Esthetic Finesse, where the couple combines their entrepreneurial and medical expertise. Howard is involved in mentorship, community service, and continues to pursue athletic activities. [7]
