These are a list of teams with 5 or more championships.

The New York Yankees have the most championships in North American history with 27. In Hockey the Montreal Canadiens have 24 and briefly held the most championships until the Yankees won their 25th title.

In American Football only two teams in the NFL have six which is the Patriots and Steelers.
