Founding principles

[edit]

The founding principles of Limes FC reflect the values of teamwork, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence. Much like Lime Hall Academy F.C., which emphasized the importance of nurturing young talent and providing a structured environment for personal and athletic growth, Limes FC has always prioritized the development of its players. The club has been a space where UBC students, regardless of their background or level of experience, can come together to improve their football skills and compete at a high level.

Over the years, Limes FC has remained true to its founding principles, maintaining a strong presence in the UBC intramural scene. The team's success in the Leisure Leagues, including three championship titles, is a testament to the enduring values that have guided the club since its inception.[3] Just as Lime Hall Academy F.C. has played a significant role in its local community, Limes FC continues to be a cornerstone of the UBC sports community, fostering a spirit of unity and shared passion for the beautiful game[4]
