Lamplighter is a project by Yehuda Raice, a New York-born American singer and songwriter currently based in Jerusalem, Israel.
Lamplighter's music combines indie and folk, featuring instruments such as the guitar, trumpet, & lap steel. Lamplighter's first release, Corridor, was released on June 3, 2024.[1]
History
[edit]Lamplighter was a project created in 2023, with Yehuda Raice in collaboration with fellow artist/brother Yitzi Raice and Chaim Ghoori, also known as Seekers.
Lamplighter's first single was recorded and produced by Noah Weinman and released on June 3, 2024[2]. The cover art features a photo of Jerusalem snow in the 1940's by photographer Tim Gidal, as well as a picture of the Baal Shem Tov's coat.
