Kuniaki Nobukawa (邦明 信川, Kuniaki Nobukawa, March, 1947 ) is a Japanese karateka and kobudoka, based in the Hyogo Japan. A 9th dan in [[Shitō-ryū]] karate, he was a student of Chojiro Tani of Shukokai, and have also trained under the legendary Soke Teruo Hayashi of Hayashi ha.

Early Years

In 1960, at 13, Nobukawa Kuniaki started learning basic karate from a local man, who was attending the Karate-do lessons. Officially in 1963, at the age of 16, he became a disciple of Chojiro Tani ha Shitoryu Seiku kai who had learned Karate-do under Master Mabuni Kenwa, the founder of Shitō-ryū.

In November of 2000, Nobukawa was qualified as 8th Dan Hanshi by Shitoryu Shuko kai Union with appreciation for his exceptional skills.
