Kumar Raj aka Capt. Rajendra Kumar Mohan Raney is an Indian film director and producer known for his works in Hindi cinema. His film Tara - The Journey of love and Passion was also Submitted for Oscar Awards from West Africa in Best film foreign language category.[1]

[edit]Kumar Raj is a Master Mariner in Shipping by profession, He has done his Management from Harvard USA, Cambridge UK & from IIM Ahmedabad, India. He received a diploma in Direction from Digital Academy and Diploma in production from Zee Institute of Media Arts. Kumar Raj received “Upcoming film Producer & Directors” award in 2005.
