Kris Mihaylov is one of South Africa's up-and-coming stars, recently qualifying for the 2024 Short Course World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, from the 10th to the 15th of December 2024. Kris swam at the South African Short Course Nationals earlier this season which secured his spot on the national team for the Short Course World Championships in the 800m freestyle (as well as breaking a national record for it at the same time), 200m free and 1500m freestyle.
Early life
Kris was born on the 7th of November 2007 and is one of the youngest swimmers participating at the World Short Course Championshsips
