Kim Na-kyoung (Korean: 김나경; born Kim Jun-seo, October 13, 2002), is a South Korean singer. She is a member of the South Korean girl group tripleS and it’s sub-units, Acid Angel from Asia, Acid Eyes, Evolution and Visionary Vision.[1]

Early Life

Kim Na-kyoung was born in Jung-gu, Ulsan, South Korea as Kim Jun-seo.[2] Kim dropped out of high school and later obtained a GED equivalent certificate. Kim named 2NE1 as her childhood rolemodel. [3] Kim's older sister, Kim Hyeong-seo, better known as her stage name Bibi is a singer and actress.[4]

Career

2022-present: Debut with tripleS

On August 23, 2022, Kim was revealed as the seventh member of the 24 member girl group tripleS. Her older sister, Bibi, congratulated her debut through an encouraging message On September 26, Kim was revealed as a member of the first subunit, Acid Angel from Asia.[5] The sub-unit made their official debut on October 28.[6] On February 13, tripleS made their official debut with their extended play, Assemble.[7] On April 19, Kim threw a ceremonial first pitch at a Kiwoom Heroes and Samsung Lions baseball game.[8] On April 4, Kim was determined as a member of the fourth tripleS sub-unit, Evolution. [9][10] The sub-unit debuted with their EP '<⟡> (MUJUK)' on October 11.[11] On June 16, 2024, Kim was chosen as a member of the new sub-unit, Visionary Vision.[12] Visionary Vision made their debut on October 22.[13]

On November 15, 2024, Kim sang the original soundtrack for the Korean series Love Wave. [14] Kim was also casted as a supporting character in the series. [15] On December 24, Kim released her first solo digital single Closer.[16]

Kim and her older sister, Bibi, were named together as 'The sisters who are coming to take over the music industry'.[17]

In August 2024, Kim entered the girl group individual brand reputation results for the first time, resulting in 74th place.[18]
