Kelli Potter (professionally known as Kelli Ferrell) (born March 19, 1985) is an American chef, entrepreneur, author, and television personality. She first entered the spotlight after it was announced she would join the season 16 cast of Bravo's reality television series The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.[1] She is also known for being the owner of the McDonough, Georgia based restaurant Nana's Chicken-N-Waffles.
Personal life and education
[edit]Kelli Ferrell was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1985. As a child, Ferrell frequently cooked with her mother and grandmother using the home recipes found in Ferrell's first book.[2] She attended school in Baltimore, Maryland and later pursued further education at Bauder College from which she graduated with a degree in Fashion marketing & design. Ferrell has 5 children. She married Chuvalo Mark Ferrell in 2011 in Miami Beach, Florida and the couple had children. In 2022 she filed for divorce from Ferrell citing the date of separation as January of 2022.[3] [4]
Career
[edit]Ferrell is an entrepreneur, chef, and television personality who worked in the fashion world until the late 2000's when she branched into the restaurant world.[5] In 2016, opened the southern cuisine restaurant Nana's Chicken-N-Waffles in McDonough, Georgia with her now ex-husband.[6] In 2019, Ferrell released her first book on amazon Kooking With Kelli.[7] Ferrell has made several television appearances over the year promoting her restaurant, book, and cooking with hosts.[8] In 2024, Ferrell branched into reality television full time with it being announced she was joining the season 16 cast of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta along with her friend Brit Eady and Angela Oakley.[9]
