Katy Volikas is an American painter and photographer based in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Career[edit]

She was discovered in high school by Alliance for Young Artists and Writers in 2014. Her charcoal piece, "Rosary Reflecting" showed at Clowes Memorial Hall in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards show. It won the Silver Key and toured the United States in two shows: "Visions & Voices" and "Art.Write.Now."[1]

Volikas is affiliated with the Newland Camera project that aims to create the first adapter for Polaroid Land cameras.

Education[edit]

Volikas attended Ball State University as a Whitinger Scholar. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.[2]

Exhibitions[edit]

Volikas' work has been featured in multiple group exhibitions and galleries, including Gallery-Forty Two[3][4] and AFPA Gallery.

Personal Life[edit]

She was born in Kokomo, Indiana and little is known of her personal life.
