Katrasgarh Railway station is in Dhanbad district under Dhanbad railway division, East Central Railway Zone. It has 3 platforms. It an important railway station service the passengers of Katras. The station code name of Katrasgarh is ‘KTH’. Katrasgarh railway station lies in Dhanbad–Chandrapura line section. Currently, there are 26 halting trains including Dhanbad–Alappuzha Express, Vasco Da Gama - Jasidih Express, Shaktipunj Express, Kolkata - Ahmedabad Express and Maurya Express.
Katrasgarh railway station will be developed under Amrit Bharat Yojya and has been sanctioned Rs. 26.09 crores.
