Production

On March 8, 2021, Sony Pictures Animation announced that Chris Appelhans and Maggie Kang will co-direct K-Pop: Demon Hunters, with writing duo Hannah McMechan and Danya Jimenez writing the script and Aron Warner is set as a producer.[1][2] Mingjue Helen Chen and Ami Thompson were announced as production designer and art director, respectively.[1]

Release

In June 2024, Netflix acquired the film rights and will release in 2025.[3]
