Career

[edit]

Riele did not start racing Ironman triathlon until the age of 22. Prior to triathlon, Justin's college a cappella group The Vanderbilt Melodores won Season 5 of NBC's The Sing Off. He is also a published researcher in the Journal of Neuroscience [1] and founder of Taskloop[2], a technology company he founded in college.

Riele took up triathlon as a hobby in 2016 and raced as an amateur from 2016 to 2022.[3]

After turning professional in 2023 and achieving two podium finishes, Riele signed with The Feed High Performance Team in 2024 after qualifying for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship.[4]

Riele raced in the inaugural Ironman Pro Series and achieved four consecutive Top 10 finishes, resulting in a PTO World Rank of #57 and USA Rank of #10.[5]

He currently works at Upstart as the Senior Director of Demand Generation and lives in Henderson, Nevada with his wife.
