Please make sure that the subject is also notable. All in all, this draft is far from being considered an encyclopedia entry. AstrooKai (Talk) 10:13, 24 December 2024 (UTC)

John Kotrides, also known as "GenX Jono," is a digital content creator who produces content centered around the nostalgia of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. His work primarily appeals to Generation X audiences and includes humorous takes on cultural memories, retro trends, and reflections on the generational experience. Kotrides is active on platforms like Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, where he has gained a considerable following for his engaging and relatable content.

Like many older content creators, Kotrides started posting on TikTok during the days of the COVID pandemic. Prior to that he worked in banking, insurance, and real estate. The break in normality that resulted from "shelter at home" regulations afforded the creator an opportunity to flex his creative muscles and engage in sharing nostalgic memories.

His first notable "viral" video centered around why Generation X is thought to be an especially tough generation. He cited reasons like the dangerous toys they grew up playing with, the Darwinian playgrounds seemingly engineered to "weed out their weak," and the lack of any adult supervision throughout their formative years.

Years later Kotrides is now an influencer engaging with fellow GenXers, has produced ad content for major corporations like AARP and Kellogg's Cereal, and continues to leave his unique mark across social media.
