James Robertson (born c. 1987) is an American college football coach. He is the pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Monmouth University, a position he has held since 2024. He was the head football coach for Fairleigh Dickinson University from 2020 to 2021. After not playing in 2020 due to COVID-19, Robertson and FDU–Florham finished with a 7–4 record, the team's best record since 1993, and their first bowl appearance since 1999. He also coached for RPI and Merchant Marine. He played college football for RPI as a quarterback and was a four-year starter and four-year All-Liberty League selection from 2005 to 2008. He played professionally for the Plattling Black Hawks of the German Football League (GLF) from 2009 to 2010.
