Jessie Zou (born 30 October 1997) is a Chinese multi-talented individual recognised for her achievements in pageantry, livestream operations, fashion design, and filmmaking. As a proud member of the Hui ethnic minority, she has embraced her heritage while achieving milestones in her diverse career. She is also an accomplished athlete, having been selected as an archery athlete in her youth. Jessie gained international recognition as the first Chinese woman to win the prestigious Miss Charity International 2024 title.[1]
Early life
[edit]Jessie Zou was born in Shanghai, China. From a young age, she had the privilege of traveling extensively, visiting countries such as the United States (including Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and San Diego, as well as Saipan, among others. These experiences gave her a global perspective and a deep appreciation for diverse cultures.
During her elementary school years, Jessie’s artistic talents were discovered by renowned painter Chen Fakui, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, who personally mentored her in fine arts. This early training nurtured her creativity and precision, which later influenced her work in fashion and filmmaking.
In middle school, Jessie studied abroad in East Brighton and London, England, further enriching her educational background. She also served as a bilingual student journalist for Jiefang Daily, gaining valuable experience in communication and cultural exchange.
Jessie pursued her undergraduate education at Shanghai Sanda University, focusing on Journalism: Media Management.
Career

[edit]Jessie Zou’s journey in pageantry began with local competitions and grew into international success. Her victory at Miss Charity International 2024 marked a historic moment as she became the first Chinese woman to achieve this accolade. Through her platform, Jessie has actively promoted women's empowerment and charity work.[2]
Livestream Operations
[edit]Jessie is a proficient livestream operations manager based in the Philippines. Focusing on team building, performance management, and strategic growth. She is also exploring marketing to enhance traffic optimization for her livestream teams.[3]
Fashion Design
[edit]As a designer, Jessie merges traditional Hui cultural elements with modern trends in her brand, gaining recognition for her unique and meaningful creations.[4]
