Jeremy Stolle (born May 27, 1976) is an American singer and stage actor from Modesto, California. He is known for covering the title role in The Phantom of the Opera, as well as Raoul de Chagny, and Ubaldo Piangi in the final Broadway cast.

Career

He made his Broadway debut in the original production of The Phantom of the Opera on October 30, 2007. He was the principle Passarino (Don Juan Triumphant) for 15 years, as well covering the role of The Phantom, Raoul de Chagny, and Ubaldo Piangi.. During the show's final fortnight, Stolle alternated the title role with Ted Keegan and Laird Mackintosh due to the illness of the main Phantom, Ben Crawford. Although his last performance as The Phantom was scheduled for March 20, 2023, he performed the role for all shows from April 4 through April 9 due to Crawford's illness and took his final bow in the mask on April 13 - making him the antepenultimate actor to play the role in the original Broadway production.

Throughout his run in Phantom, Stolle did numerous press events for the show including the annual Inner Circle charity revue, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids Annual Easter Bonnet, Broadway in Bryant Park, the annual New York City Easter Parade, Good Morning America, the unveiling of Broadway wax figures at Madame Tussauds, and various other appearances.

Stolle got his start in theatre by performing the role of Gaston at Disneyland in Anaheim, California in 1999. 7 years later, he joined a regional production playing the lead role of the Beast at Cape Fear Regional Theatre in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Before making his Broadway debut in Phantom, Stolle played the role of Trevor Graydon in the Music Theatre of Wichita's production of Thoroughly Modern Millie.

He originated the role of Jehan Frollo in the off-Broadway production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey, as well as on the 2016 cast album.

In 2017, he created a short documentary, Jeremy Stolle: A Life on Broadway, which provides an in-depth view into the realities and challenges of being a Broadway actor.

Beyond the theatre, Stolle has produced multiple albums and EPs, both under his own name and with his band The Unreachable Stars. He has also produced numerous concerts across the United States and internationally through his company Stolle House Productions. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2021 he conducted a series of concerts in his hometown and nationwide. He has collaborated with orchestras including The Indianapolis Symphony, Springfield Symphony, Modesto Symphony, The Broadway Stars concert in Taiwan, Pacific Symphony, The Straz, The Overture Center, W. Carroll Coyne Center, and ASCANSA. He also appeared at 54 Below, Birdland Jazz Club, and Broadway.com. His most recent musical release is a parody of Johnny Cash's I've Been Everywhere, titled I've Been to Every Starbucks, and received rave reviews.

In November 2023, he joined the cast for a reading of Yes! the Musical at the Institute for American Musical Theatre. In the same month, he ventured into digital collectibles in partnership with The Broadway Exchange.

Stolle, along with fellow Phantom cast member Greg Mills, launched The Pod of No Return, a podcast where they discuss life in and around The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. Through this platform, they have interviewed former cast members and hosted panels at events like BroadwayCon in 2023.
