Jensen Nixon

Jensen Nixon is an Irish national residing in Jersey, Channel Islands. Jensen grew up in Dublin.

Jensen Nixon is the Group CEO of WARM Solutions..[1] and OPAL-UK[2], a software consultancy with offices in Jersey, Channel Islands, and St Albans, UK. WARM Solutions is a business that delivers scalable digital solutions in the insurance and structured products markets.

Nixon holds the professional designation of a Fellow of the British Computer Society[3]. He is also a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Chartered IT Professional[4].

He completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at University of Nottingham[5] and holds an Advanced Diploma in Fund Administration from the University of Manchester[6].

Career

Nixon began his career at Worldpay, working as an IT Manager. As his career progressed, he became a Business Development Director at Viberts, a family law firm in Jersey, where he worked for seven years. He then transitioned into a management consultancy role with Knadel, a specialist business and technology consultancy for the investment management industry. Knadel was subsequently acquired by Catalyst Financial Services Specialists, which was then acquired by Sionic, and is now part of the Davies Consulting Division[7]. Nixon was involved with Knadel from 2010 to 2012 before becoming CEO of WARM Solutions.

Public and Professional Recognition

Under Jensen Nixon's leadership, WARM Solutions has reached the following milestones:

In 2014, the company partnered with Jersey Telecom (JT) to launch its first cloud-based application on JT's platform. The collaboration with JT enabled the company to offer services to clients in the insurance and financial services sectors. The success of this initiative was detailed in a case study[8] highlighting the benefits and impact of the cloud-based application.

In 2021, WARM Solutions participated in a £24 million IT project consortium alongside Keytree,[9] a Deloitte business, and Sysdoc, in collaboration with the Government of Jersey. This initiative led to the development of advanced digital solutions, supporting local businesses and boosting economic growth by facilitating digital training and job creation for Islanders[10]

In 2022 and 2023, Jensen Nixon served on the judging panel for the Digital Jersey Tech Awards[11], an event organized by Digital Jersey. Digital Jersey is a government-backed agency dedicated to fostering the growth of the digital sector in Jersey. The awards recognize and celebrate technological innovation and achievements in the local industry.

In 2024, WARM Solutions achieved SAP (Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing) accreditation, becoming one of only three official SAP partners in the Channel Islands. Nixon emphasized that the accreditation "will allow WARM to deliver more comprehensive solutions both locally and internationally," noting that "WARM and its sister company OPAL already serve major clients, including HSBC Life"[12]
