Jennifer Gómez Menjívar, born on 9/06/1981, is a Salvadoran-American professor at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador. She obtained a B.A. in Women Studies from California State University, Northridge. After graduating, she went to The Ohio State University for her M.A. and Ph.D. in Latin American Cultural Studies. She interned at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe-Office of the Executive Secretary in Geneva, Switzerland. Subsequently, she interned at the United Nations Development Program-Post Crisis Unit in the Ivory Coast.[1][2][3][4]
