Jaume Sanpera is a serial entrepreneur in the technology sector. In 1995, Jaume started out by creating the company Techno Trends to offer videoconferencing services. The company was acquired years later by Ricoh. In 1999, he created Ambientum.com, the first portal dedicated to the environmental industry. Ambientum is currently the leader in the sector for Spain and Latin America. In 2001, he founded CIDEC to develop software tools for the multimedia world. In 2002, he created Tech Sales Force, a sales force specialising in the technology sector, reflecting Jaume Sanpera's passion for sales. In 2003, he founded the company Festuc, which developed the first mobile-based social network for Spain. In 2003, he created Eurona, a rural Internet access operator. In ten years, Eurona buys 14 companies, grows from 5 to 150M€ in sales and operates in more than 20 countries. In 2010, Jaume makes an IPO and takes Eurona public. In 2016, Eurona is the largest rural internet operator in Spain and the largest satellite internet access operator in Europe. In 2017, due to the entry of an American investor, Magnetar, and not agreeing on the development plan, Jaume leaves the company. In 2018, Jaume Sanpera founds Sateliot. Sateliot is the first IoT constellation that works with 100% standard equipment. With 6 satellites already flying (2024), Sateliot is leading the satellite sector for connections for 5G IoT devices.
