She is the founder and chairwoman of the Sống Foundation (SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND), a non-profit social fund dedicated to supporting communities in coping with natural disasters, addressing climate change, and promoting sustainable development.[1]

[edit]Phạm Thị Hương Giang was born and raised in Vietnam. She graduated from the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi with a major in International Economics. She completed a master’s program in Business and International Finance at Kyung Hee University in South Korea[2]. In 2021, she was selected to participate in the Eisenhower Global Fellowship Program.

[edit]Jang Kều is the Chairwoman and CEO of GroupG Asia Pacific Holdings, a corporation specializing in the supply of specialty materials, technology, and brand consulting.[3] [4] She is also the Chairwoman and Creative Director of UCC Europe, which owns the luxury perfume brand Jillian Switzerland.
Social Activities
[edit]In 2013, Jang Kều founded the Sống Foundation (established under Decision No. 2470/QĐ-BNV, dated November 7, 2018, and certified under Decision No. 529/QĐ-BNV, dated July 4, 2019, by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Vietnam)[5]), a non-profit social fund dedicated to supporting communities in dealing with natural disasters and climate change.[6] One of the foundation’s standout programs is “Nhà Chống Lũ” (Resilient Housing Program), an initiative that has helped residents in disaster-prone areas build over 1,200 safe and sustainable houses. [7] The program employs a community-contribution model combined with technical support to enhance disaster resilience and improve livelihoods.
In 2021, the Happy Village project, a part of the Resilient Housing program, was awarded as the "Collaborative Project of the Year" by the Ashui Awards for its efforts in fostering sustainable communities in remote and rural areas [8] [9]. The Resilient Housing Program also received the Sustainable Project Award by the Human Act Prize in 2023[10].
Another notable initiative is Hạnh Phúc Xanh (Green Happiness Program), which focuses on planting trees to protect the environment and mitigate the impacts of climate change. The program has planted thousands of trees in locations such as Hanoi, Hội An [11] [12], and Soc Trang [13]. Mangrove reforestation projects in Sóc Trăng have helped protect coastal areas from erosion and salinity intrusion while creating sustainable livelihoods for local communities[14].
Additionally, Sống Foundation has implemented activities in arid regions such as Ninh Thuan, including the "Trồng Rừng Giữ Nước" (Forest Planting for Water Retention) campaign, aimed at restoring ecosystems and enhancing resilience to climate change[15]. In 2020, Jang Kều was recognized by the World Bank as one of the Pioneering Women across East Asia and the Pacific, acknowledging her influence in sustainable development.[16]
