Shin Ji-a ( born 9 July 2009)is czech figure skater. She is 2024 Czech junior national champion. She reprezented her country on 2024 Junior Worlds.

Personal life

Jana was born in Prague on 9.07.2009. She train at the KK Pardubice since she was 6 years old. Her coach is Olga Petrementova and choreagrapher is Barbora Prokopova. She train 13 hours in week.

Early years

Jana began skating in 2015 when she was 6 years old. Next to figure skating, she is competetiv dancer , and do gymnastics for fun. She is 3-time national champion in category younger age.

2023/24 JGP debut

Jana made her big debut on Junior Grand Prix at the 2023 JGP Austria in Linzshe finished on 11th place. The following comp, she competed in her second event on the circuit, the 2023 JGP Poland in Gdańsk. There she finished on 8th place. In October she competed on Diamond spin where she won in both programs and took home her first international medal. In November she skated on [[Skate Celje] in Slovenia. She won the golden medal there. In begining of 2024 she won her fisrt junior national title and beat her teammate Barbora Tykalova. She was selected to represent Czech Republic on 2024 Junior Worlds. On December she won silver medal at Santa Claus cup behind Anastazia Brandenburg from Swiss. On Junior Worlds 2024,she skated perfect short program finished 12th, had some little mistakes in free skated finished 22nd and took 18th overall.

2024/25

Jana started this season on Junior Grand Prix at the 2024 JGP Czech in Ostravafinished on 12th place, on same place she finnished on her second JGP this season at Junior Grand Prix at the 2024 JGP Thailand in [[Bangkok]. In October she skated on [[Budapest trophy], where she finished 4th overall. In next month she competed on [[Tirnavia Ice cup]in Slovakia, there she finished second in both programs and took silver medal. On [[Talin Trophy]she landed clean 3Lz+3T combo and finished 4th overall again. Her next competetion is Santa Claus cup in Hungary.
