Jan Zoet (21 April 1958 – 14 December 2024) was a Dutch theatre director of Rotterdamse Schouwburg (1998–2013), Academy of Theatre and Dance (2013–2020) and Zuiderstrandtheater (2020–2023).
Life and career
[edit]Born in Oude Wetering on 21 April 1958, Zoet studied at Leiden University. He worked as a theatre critic, and during the 1980s and 1990s was also a playwright and producer.[1]
Zoet died from a brain tumour in Amsterdam, on 14 December 2024, at the age of 66.[2]
