Jan Hammer is a Czech-born venture capitalist and partner at Index Ventures, a European venture capital firm. He has been involved in investments in technology companies, with a focus on fintech and enterprise software.[1][2]

Career

Hammer began his career in finance at Morgan Stanley, where he worked in the technology team during the dot-com bubble.[3] He later worked as an investor at General Atlantic, a private equity firm.[1][2]

In 2010, Hammer joined Index Ventures as a partner, where he has since focused on investments in technology companies.[1][2]
