James Bernard Carroll (January 10, 1856 – January 8, 1932) was a justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court from 1915 to 1932. He was appointed by Governor David I. Walsh.[1]
Early life
[edit]James Bernard Carroll was born on June 10, 1856 in Lowell, Massachusetts to parents Patrick and Bridget Carroll. Eventually, his family moved to Worcester, and there he graduated from high school. He then attended Holy Cross College.[2]
