Jagatika Lingayata Mahasabha (Global Lingayata Assembly) is a representative body of Lingayats also known as liṅgāyataru, liṅgavanta, vīraśaiva, liṅgadhāri, it is headquartered in Belagavi, it promotes Basava philosophy and culture, it is currently working to get constitutional recognition for Lingayata religion and minority status, similar to non-vedic Hindu religions Jainism, Buddhism of India.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
