Jacqueline DezShazor started a beauty college and was a community leader in Durham, North Carolina.[1] Her success allowed her to buy the building[2] at 802l1 Fayetteville Street.[3] She offered accomodations at the building.[4] She established the Durham branch of the Housewives League.[5]
