JK Boots is a custom leather boot manufacturer based in Spokane, Washington, known for crafting durable, high-quality footwear designed for demanding work environments. The boots have become especially popular among logging, firefighting[1], and construction tradesman in the Pacific Northwest. their most popular style is a boot called the "Fire Inlander" which was created specifically to fulfill the needs of Wildland Firefighters.[2]

History

John Khadzhi, also known as "JK," is the founder of JK Boots. He began his career as a cobbler during his teenage years in a small town in Ukraine, where he grew up. As an apprentice, Khadzhi demonstrated exceptional skill in leatherwork and the meticulous craft of hand-building boots and shoes.

In 1994,Khadzhi immigrated to the United States with his family. Arriving with limited resources but driven by the ambition to establish a boot making business, he dedicated himself to perfecting his craft and building a reputation in the industry. His expertise and dedication soon earned him widespread recognition for the quality and durability of his work.

Khadzhi eventually founded JK Boots, a company specializing in high-quality, handcrafted boots. He passed down his knowledge and techniques to his sons, whom he raised in Eastern Washington. Together, they continue to operate the business, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern entrepreneurship.
