Ivan Erslan (Obrovac, November 15, 1991) is a Croatian mixed martial arts fighter in the light heavyweight category that is currently under the contract of UFC.
He was born in Obrovac on November 15, 1991. He coached football in his younger days. During his studies, encouraged by his brother, he began training in mixed martial arts. He had his first fight at the age of 24 in Prelog in Međimurje against Mateo Pišček, in which he won. He became famous in the world of MMA by fighting in the Polish KSW in the light heavyweight category. Ivan Erslan featured as a guest trainer in one episode of the FNC - Fight Of Nations.
He signed a contract with Ali Abdelaziz, Khabib Nurmagomedov's former agent and after that he got a UFC contract for 4 fights.
He became the first Croatian UFC fighter after eight years in the world's strongest MMA organization by fighting against Moldovan Ion Cutelaba in Paris on September 28, 2024. Before him, the last Croatian in the UFC was Filip Pejić.
