It's Okay to Not Be Okay is an upcoming Philippine romantic comedy television series based on the 2020 South Korean television drama series of the same title. Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, it stars Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia, and Carlo Aquino. It is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in 2025.[1]

Production

[edit]On December 13, 2023, the series was announced as part of ABS-CBN's 2024 programming line-up, with Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia and Carlo Aquino being cast in the lead roles.[2][3][4] A media conference was held on May 17, 2024.[5][6][7]
Casting
[edit]Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil were initially reported to cast in the lead roles, but both declined the offer.[8][9][10]
Filming
[edit]Principal photography commenced on July 2024, in Iloilo and the Negros provinces.[11][12][13]
Marketing
[edit]The first teaser for the series was revealed on December 10, 2024, at the Araneta Coliseum.[14] The series will premiere in 2025.[15][16]
