Islampidia is an Islamic da'wah website that provides an opportunity to ask and answer various questions about Islam based on the interpretations of the Qur'an and Sunnah (including hadith) literature by its founder and its superviser Md. Ahasan Habib.[2][3][4][5][6]

History

[edit]

Islampidia launched in 2023[7]. It first started as a simple website but in 2024 it made its debut as an Islamic organization.[2]

Popularity

[edit]

This website was banned in Bangladesh from 23 July to 05 August 2024 for fueling the Bangladesh quota reform movement.[6] The ban was lifted after the collapse of the Sheikh Hasina government on August 5.[8][9]The website gained popularity in July-August 2024.[10][5][6]
