Inharmony Clinic (or often stylized as inHarmony Clinic or inHARMONY clinic) is a medical clinic located in Jakarta, Indonesia, specializing in preventive healthcare services. Although initially made as a clinic specialized in providing vaccination, the clinic now claims to provide other preventive services such as Genetic Testing, Physical Examination, and Multivitamin injection.[1][2]
History
[edit]Vaccine hesitancy has always been a quite prominent problem in Indonesia, that even their vaccination program in countering measles outbreak in 2017 and 2018 faces challenges and resulting in almost 10 million children left unimmunised by the end of the campaign.[3]
As one of the country with the biggest number of muslim population in the world, plenty of matters in Indonesia almost always faced with religious views and vaccination is one of them.[4][5]
Facing this condition, there are less private clinic in Indonesia that focused in preventive healthcare, as it could be seen to be less profitable rather than establishing a curative-focused or general clinic.
Inharmony Clinic was established in 2011 and recognized as one of the first vaccination clinics in Indonesia.[6][7]
Recognition
[edit]inharmony Clinic has been recognized for its contributions to help the Indonesian government in vaccinating more than 100,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine back in July 2021.[8][9]
