Jharkhand, India.. Its a government residential school only for girls. It is also called IGBV. There is an entrance exam for class 6 in this school which is taken along with the Netarhat Residential School which is called IGBV and Netarhat Residential School Entrance Exam. The IGBV and Netarhat Residential School Entrance Exam is conducted by Jharkhand Academic Council. The IGBV is available to only girls from class 6 to 10.
History
[edit]Indira Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Hazaribagh[1]is established in 1986 by the government of Bihar to provide free education to the girls of the state. Currently, this school falls under the Government of Jharkhand which was previously the part of Bihar state. This was established by then Chief Minister of Bihar Bindeshwari Dubey.
Location
[edit]Hazaribagh (23.9925° N, 85.3637° E) is one of the largest cities of Jharkhand, India. Hazaribagh is situated in the central part of the state, and it is the capital of the North Chotanagpur division. It is a large historic settlement near Hazaribagh National Park, known also for its wonderful nature. Hazaribagh is a tourist attraction which is famous for its temples, small neighborhoods and rural settlements, hills, and creeks.
