논란

[edit]
  • On June 8, 2011, in the second half of the game against Hanwha, Jeong Won-seok attempted to steal home, and he hastily threw the ball home, but he had already started pitching, so it was a balk. However, the umpires did not recognize this and made a mistake by declaring Jeong Won-seok out.
  • On May 26, 2013, Chung Eui-yoon, who led the LG Twins to victory with a walk-off hit against SK and was selected as the MVP of the game, was being interviewed by Jeong In-young, who was an announcer for KBS N Sports at the time. He received water from a trash can and was interviewed by Chung Eui-yoon and Jeong In-young. A thunderbolt of water was thrown towards. However, due to his mistake, Jeong In-young, who was covered in more water than Jeong Eui-yoon, was broadcast live, but stopped the interview for a while, quickly adjusted his appearance, and then conducted the interview again. He apologized the next day, but KBS N Sports' criticism continued. This turned into a fight between KBS N Sports officials and baseball players. In particular, KBS reporter Han Seong-yoon and producer Kim Seong-tae posted emotional posts on Twitter and Facebook saying that all baseball players need character education. In response, baseball players such as Kim Jeong-jun and Park Jae-hong expressed opposition. For this reason, KBS N Sports publicly declared a boycott and said there will be no future interviews with the LG Twins, but interviews are continuing. Kim Ki-tae, who was the manager of the LG Twins at the time, and Lee Byeong-gyu, who was the captain at the time, went to the announcer again in Jamsil and formally apologized. This incident gave rise to the nickname ‘Mool Chan-gyu’.
